Why we love Pine Tar Lard Soap:

• Traditional Pine Tar: Pine tar has a long history in soap including use in Scandinavia, Europe, and Colonial America for cleansing and treating skin irritations, bug bites, and scalp conditions. Pine Tar naturally creates a woodsy,  earthy scent perfect for nature lovers. This soap is free from synthetic additives or harsh chemicals providing a straightforward, natural wash.

• Locally Sourced Lard: We render lard from nearby small farms. Lard is rich in oleic acid, creating a creamy, bubbly, nourishing lather that's easy on sensitive skin. Lard soap is often called "old-fashioned" soap and is known for its gentle cleansing qualities, especially for those sensitive to plant-based fats commonly used in soaps. 

• Goat Milk: contains lactic acid so naturally exfoliates the skin by gently removing dead cells. 
  

• Handcrafted with Care: We make our soap in small batches, reflecting our commitment to quality we pour into our craft. Soaps are at least 4 ounces and can vary slightly due to the natural curing process.
